Limitations of homeschool

Co-ops

By law homeschool Co-ops can not provide ‘regular instruction’. Our Co-op serves those parents who want the homeschool experience but lack the time and or resources to do so efficiently.

So although we won't be teaching your student daily, we will help you to be able to facilitate a homeschooling experience with a support system. We in essence supplement the family's primary instruction already provided at home. Typically scheduled assignments are sent out to your student once weekly for the subjects required by the state of Maryland .

Some examples of potential members of our co-op are:

●Working parents or guardians

●Parents who need assistance finding resources

●Families who need help organizing the curriculum

●Families who need assistance finding social activities for their child

●Families who need a care free experience submitting documents to local officials for homeschooling reviews

Homeschool transcripts

For our 'budget' plan, you must pay for the transcript. Click here to order a transcript. Families find transcripts useful for several reasons

● In case they need to re-enroll the student back into public school. Some institutions need thorough records for proper placement of the student in the correct grade.

●College bound students | Many college institutions accept homeschool students. Transcripts are vitalfor this process.

●Personal records | Sometimes families just need records for personal use.

●Government documentation | Depending on your state, documentation serves to protect families from unnecessary government intervention. For example, some parents use 'unschooling' as a method of homeschooling.

Although the child may be learning, certain states don't recognize this method unless there is thorough documentation. It serves as a legal time and date stamp.
